Keys points and other info
Scottish water . Scottish water have recently notified several people
developing house sites that they cannot be supplied with water. They had been extracting twice the permitted amount a Hamera tributary.
There are practical and acceptable solutions to this problem which Scottish Water are refusing to address.
Skips . We do try to get more than our allotted 6 skips per year.
Builders materials , fencing posts , mesh and wire are prohibited. Please dismantle large items. Note :- bulky household items such as beds , fridges , cookers , TV's , microwaves etc can be uplifted from your weelie bin site .

Loss of Post-Bus service The failure to consult locally could (if one source is to be believed) be the responsibility of a single individual in Inverness who did not recognise the need.
Alternatively , it could be the Highland council as a whole did not consider it necessary
Glendale Post Office We understand that the Damoclean sword of the Royal Mail review has been lifted , but until various other matters are completed we may not be completely safe.
Mothballing of Borrodale School We pressed the Highland Council as rumours grew and were told that they were under no obligation to consult with
communities about anything.
Finally , the community council was advised of by telephone at 2 pm on the day before the school closed.
