G.L.A.D ( Glendale Ladies Arts Development)
This informal group meet every monday in the village hall at 7.30 pm.
For spinning , weaving , painting , or anything . Newcomers are welcome .

for stitch and natter - 1.30 to 3.30 for those that don't travel in the dark

Glendale Hall wind turbine

Leading the way in renewable energy , the wind turbine has now been erected and is turning.
We may be the most energy efficient village hall in Sctland or even the UK .
Heat from the ground and now power from the wind ( we have a lot of it )
It is now fully operational and earning money for the hall.

Glendale Bowling Club welcomes new members to play indoor bowls on
Thursday nights in the village hall 7.30 to 10.30 . men and women of all ages are welcome .

Locals are now enjoying a Thursday afternoon art course . They are trying out various media and techniques with tutor Mark Langdale from Uig
