Thanks to the hall committee I now have a list of all the Glendales in the world. Our Glendale is the oldest c800 to 1000 AD and as Glendale means "Valley-valley" we are a little like New York - so good they named it twice. Most are in the USA - with the following letters AK , AR , AZ ,CA , CO , DC , FL , IL (2) , IN , KS , KY , KD , MD , MA , MI , MS , MO (2) , NV , NC , NH , NJ , NY , NC , OH , OR , PA , RI , SC , SD , TN (2) , TX , UT , WV (2) , WI , two in British Columbia and one in Zimbabwe plus us. That's 42. Unless you know of more.
